Laceleaf was inspired by walking in woodland after a storm and noticing how decaying autumn leaves had been swept up by the wind and become skewered on sharp twigs. The decaying leaves reminded me of delicate lace. This image brings together natural decay and beauty, celebrating how deterioration can transform ordinary forms into something intricate and incredibly beautiful.
