I loved how the weight of this little grass seed head had made this beautiful curve of its delicate stem, easily overlooked but here this little plant is celebrated. Ribwort Plantain is a native plant to Europe. It can be eaten, used to make herbal tea and the seed heads provide food for birds, especially goldfinches, during winter. And it is also very beautiful to look at.
